It comes with great sadness to announce that we will be cancelling the Angels in the Outfield softball tournament this year. COVID 19 has thrown us a huge curve ball. Due to the restrictions set in place and after many conversations with Forest Park and in the effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, we felt as though this was the right decision. Your continued support through the years only encourages us to double up on AITO 2021 and make it the biggest and best year yet. Please stay tuned to some additional announcements in the coming weeks as we do not want to forget this year all together. We love all of you and appreciate you keeping Chris, Lauren, and Kathleens spirit alive.
The tournament will consist of 48 teams (minimum of 10 players/team) with a coed division (24 teams) and Men's division (24 teams). Each team will be guaranteed 3 games throughout the tournament. Teams will play one game Friday evening, and games will continue at 10am on Saturday. All teams are encouraged to create a team name and customize their uniforms.
Throughout the weekend, we will have music, raffles, & concessions. If you are not playing, please come out and cheer on your favorite team! Additional activities will be taking place during the tournament if softball is not your thing. We will have a complimentary section for the kids that includes face painting, a balloon artist, and a bounce house. Bring your little ones so they can enjoy the tournament too!
Angels in the Outfield t-shirts, tanks and hats will be sold at the tournament while supplies last. We recommend pre-purchasing online to ensure your correct size.
All proceeds will benefit the Chris Lenzen Scholarship Fund and The Special Olympics Missouri.
